10 Jan Men’s Peer Counseling Group – OPEN EVENING
Men have been subtly (and not so subtly) conditioned since a young age to conform to a rigid and often hurtful set of ideas about what it means to be a man.
This gathering is for men who seek to disrupt that conditioning, for men who want to find connection easier by learning about how to listen and express themselves clearly and powerfully as men. By practicing these skills together, men find the comraderie, understanding and empowerment that they are seeking. Together, we generate a strong container for clear communication and a vessel for growth and healing.
This open evening will get everyone acquainted with the work and each other. Men will be invited to join an established weekly group, beginning the following Tuesday, by making a 6 week commitment.
