Dr. Susan M. Scharf practices Functional medicine, offering a variety of holistic and integrative modalities for healing, including ketamine assisted therapy. Dr. Scharf’s unique practice is grounded in non-judgment and compassion, synthesizing a blend of integrative techniques. Some of these techniques for ketamine therapy include contemplative and mindfulness-based practices, somatic therapies, and facilitation with her finely-tuned intuition.
Dr. Scharf is a MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) trained therapist for MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy for the treatment of PTSD clinical trials and is also currently the study physician for the New York MAPS phase 3 trial for MDMA assisted psychotherapy for PTSD.
