Ben Fleisher is a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Zero Balancer. He began his career in the healing arts as a massage therapist in 2002 after graduation from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. After the unexpected loss of his brother in 2004, Ben found himself grief-stricken and wanting desperately to have a bigger impact on the health of his clients. He discovered Acupuncture and the unique form of Acupressure called Zero Balancing and returned to New York, where he transitioned his practice to these two forms of healing.
In 2010, the year of Ben’s graduation from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, he also co-founded Body Local, a membership organization for health and wellness professionals designed to help develop the efficacy and duration of their careers. Over 100 events later, Body Local is a robust and vibrant community, producing professional trainings, networking events, peer mentoring and group coaching programs all year long.
Ben currently practices at Midtown Integrative Health and Wellness on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, where he is the lead Acupuncturist among a team of 14 health providers. He returned to Woodstock, NY, where he was born and raised, in 2014, to raise his family.
Opening Woodstock Healing Arts is how Ben brings all the lessons learned from his integrative practice in NYC and from the Body Local community back to his hometown, to serve the community closest to his heart.
