One of the main reasons I was initially drawn to acupuncture was because I always felt my needs were heard and explored with such care and compassion by my acupuncturist. That’s what I strive for in my practice. I devote time in each session to listening. I offer space for exploring what is really going on in the body. You may come in for physical pain, only to discover it’s rooted in an emotion or untapped feeling. Or perhaps your headaches are actually coming from tension in your neck muscle. I love acupuncture because each treatment is unique in its execution, yet consistently powerful. We are different in our bodies in some way every day, and it is my job to honor that. Each treatment is tailored to meet you where you are in your body on that particular day.
Ulster County is my family’s new home. It is important to me that I build a strong bond with this community. My goal is to work with my community and offer accessible care to all. I want to offer a space where everyone feels comfortable and safe.
I hold a Masters of Science in Acupuncture from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC, where I studied three different styles of acupuncture; Acupuncture Physical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Kiiko Matsumoto Style. Additionally, I studied Cosmetic Acupuncture under Shellie Goldstein, widely considered one of the leading experts in the field. Upon graduation, I spent two years in Los Angeles, apprenticing under Denise Weisner, a women’s health and fertility specialist. This diverse range of studies allows me to approach treatments in a multitude of ways, which I determine and tailor based upon the individual and their needs.
